Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Spokane, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The City of Spokane, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252,42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. Bids shall be submitted on the forms provided in accordance with the provisions of the Specifications. Irregular bid proposals will be rejected in accordance with the specifications. The City of Spokane will normally award this Contract or reject bids within FORTYFIVE (45) calendar days after the time set for the bid opening. If the lowest responsible Bidder and the City of Spokane agree, this deadline may be extended. If they cannot agree on an extension by the 45-calendar day deadline, the City of Spokane reserves the right to Award the Contract to the next lowest responsible Bidder or reject all Bids. Note regarding new specifications: The City of Spokane is using WSDOT's 2025 Standard Specifications. In accordance with SMC 7.06.500 and RCW 39.04.350(1), the low bidder shall complete the Supplemental Bidder Responsibility Criteria form located in Appendix B. Failure to promptly submit the form including supporting documentation if required may delay award of the Contract. Note regarding funding source: The Maxwell from Pettet to Walnut WSDOT Bike-Ped project received funding from Washington's Climate Commitment Act (CCA). To strengthen public awareness of how CCA funding is used, the Office of the Governor is directing state agencies that administer funding or manage a CCA-support program to ensure consistent branding and funding acknowledgements are used in all communications and included in funding agreements and contracts. The "Climate Commitment Act" logo and funding acknowledgement make it easy for consumers and the public to see how the state is using CCA funds to reduce climate pollution, create jobs, and improve public health and the environment, particularly for low-income and overburdened populations. Refer to Appendix C for a list of provision that apply to all contractors, subcontractors, service providers and others who assist the City of Spokane in implementing the Maxwell from Pettet to Walnut WSDOT Bike-Ped project. Range: $1,300,000.00 to $1,700,000.00 The Contracting Agency has established the following voluntary goals: Minority 10% Small 5% Veteran 5% Women 6% *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
