Work under this contract includes the 300 and 400 levels of University College, including stairwells. Questions and clarifications are required to be emailed by April 4th, 2025, end of day to both the Technical and Administrative Contact Person. Scope: the removal of the existing flooring and baseboards, floor preparations as required, and replacement of flooring and baseboards in the following locations Level 300 classroom side corridors and stairwells, Level 400 corridors and stairwells, Classrooms 375, 376, 377, 379, 382, 383, 384, 385, 386, and 396. The flooring surfaces must allow for safe passage at the end of each shift for the following day as areas will be in use. Classrooms must be completed with furniture back in place within approximately 1 week of taking the room offline. New flooring to be Johnsonite iQ Optima in 246 Light Sand Beige CB (VL1 Harvest Time CB) and new baseboards to match existing colour and size. Coordination schedules will be required to be reviewed and approved to ensure minimal disruption to users at least 10 working days before mobilization. Furniture in the noted areas will be moved by General Services based on approved work schedule. Work will need to take place after 4:30pm and before 7:00am. Shutdown coordination will be required for all hot works with advance notice and approval required. Work must be completed between May 5th and August 15th, 2025.
