Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Logan, Utah. Completed plans call for the addition of a 5,000-square-foot educational facility; and for the renovation of a 4,750-square-foot educational facility.
The project involves expanding the existing SMASH Lab with a new 4,750-square-foot addition (95' x 50') and renovating the current 5,000-square-foot (50' x 100') facility. The new addition will be a pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) constructed separately from the existing lab but connected via an expansion assembly. It will include spaces for material staging, vehicle storage, testing, curing, mechanical systems, and instrumentation. Renovations to the current SMASH Lab will involve selective demolition in certain areas and the addition of a new Hydraulics Room.
