Only materials approved as conforming to the requirements of these specifications shall be used in the work. The mix design shall conform to INDOT specifications and be submitted to Director prior to placement. Approval of any source shall not constitute acceptance of all materials from that source, and upon discretionary testing by the Director, materials not meeting the requirements of these specifications shall be rejected and replaced, if necessary The work called for under these specifications shall include the furnishing of all labor, material, equipment, appurtenances, and means of conveyance of all materials and/or equipment necessary for completion of a preventative maintenance two (2) inch average depth asphalt overlay at various locations as provided for the project listed in the Notice to Bidders All plans, specifications, documents, and the Notice to Bidders, provided with the bid package, and including the applicable sections of the 2022 INDOT Standard Specifications with supplements effective for lettings on or after September 1, 2021 are made a part of these specifications and will govern in resolving all disputes, including failure to complete on time.
