Broom the surface of all roof decks and EPDM membrane covered crickets to remove all dirt, dust, and debris. Secure any raised fasteners flush to the surface ofthe roof deck. Hose test all existing downspouts and below grade roofdrain lines prior to the start and upon the completion of all work. Remove all existing: water diverters; fascia/metal edge flashings; rake flashings; two-piece counter flashing inserts; expansion joint cover; and pipe flashings.
