Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Syracuse, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The project provides for the rehabilitation of East Brighton Avenue and East Seneca Turnpike (NY Route 173) between Thurber Street and the City Limit in the City of Syracuse. The total length of the project is approximately 6,336 (1.2 miles), excluding the interchange of Interstates I-81 and I-481, which is currently under construction as part of the New York State Department of Transportation I-81 Viaduct Project. The project includes milling and paving of the roadway surface with areas of full depth reconstruction; curbing, sidewalk, driveway work; drainage system improvements; new and replacement traffic signal installation; landscaping; and upgrades to signs and pavement markings. There is a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation requirement for this project of 5%. The affirmative action goals include a minority utilization of 3.8% and utilization goal of 6.9% for women. Sets of plans and specifications for the work under this contract shall only be obtained from the Director of the Office of Management & Budget, Division of Purchase upon deposit of a new check or money order in the amount of $100.00, payable to the Commissioner of Finance of the City of Syracuse.
