The scope of work includes interior and exterior renovations of the heritage building listed as a "historic monument" in the cultural heritage directory of the Quebec Ministry of Culture and Communications and extensive upgrades to its site. TIMELINE: According to currently available information, the awarded professional consultant has completed preliminary studies regarding the future of the historic Abraham-Dubois house. The City of Boisbriand has approved the demolition of the building, deeming the restoration costs too high for public finances. The site will be the subject of an architectural development plan and certain architectural elements, such as a corbel, will be salvaged before demolition. No construction will follow this report. Coverage of this report has been discontinued.
