Site work for a water / sewer project in Englewood, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The County intends to select a contractor to remove and restore Englewood Isles Seawall. This work consists of the removal, salvage, and disposal of structures (including fences) from the designated areas. Excavation, grading and stabilization of canal banks with excavation of sediment traps. Construction of several restoration projects within select locations of Lemon Bay and Roberts Bay to reduce stream bank erosion. Remove exotic vegetation, reduce sedimentation and provide treatment of storm water. -- Replacing deteriorating concrete pile and panel seawalls at one site located at 250 Englewood Isles Pkwy in Sarasota County, Florida. The new seawalls will be constructed using composite sheet pile and stabilized with new upland tie rods and concrete anchors buried in the upland. The seawall will be approximately 60' in length. The seawall will also have two 10' return walls.
