Expansion of the regions water infrastructure system The water supply master plan, approved by the board in 2022, is a 30-year road map for the regions water supply that includes 22 water-infrastructure projects with a price tag of just over $2 billion. The centerpiece of the plan is a $1.1-billion water filtration plant. TIMELINE: Preliminary planning is ongoing. Project is pending funding. Tender and construction timelines are undetermined.
