This Request for Proposals (RFP) is an invitation to construction management firms from Conseil scolaire francophone de la Colombie-Britannique (the CSF or the Owner) to submit a Proposal to provide construction management services for the new K-12 École in Beausoleil located at 1705 Lansdowne Road, Saanich, BC (the Project.) The CSF is planning the construction of a new school on the land located at 1705 Lansdowne Rd, in Saanich, BC. The land was previously part of the site of Lansdowne Middle School (School District #61) and was recently subdivided and purchased by the CSF to deliver a new school serving students from grades K to 12. The site was also once the location of Victoria's first airfield in the late 1920s. This project received approval from the Province in summer 2025. After completing the feasibility studies phase and subdivision of the land, the CSF initiated the design process for the new school in July 2025 with the design team. The aim is to create a learning environment that addresses the needs of the community and ensures that students have access to quality French-first language education in the CSF's Victoria East catchment area. The hard construction budget is approximately $40,600,000. This includes supplemental items, and a Neighbourhood Learning Centre (NLC) use area of 390 sq.m, but excluding equipment, furniture, risk reserves and economic adjustment. Proponents are to use this budget for calculating their financial proposals. This budget is for information only and is not an indication of the final Cost of the Work.
