SUMMARY OF WORK: The following summary is a general guide to the scope of work. It should not be construed as a detailed list of work included in the contract. 1. Contact the Gopher State One Call Agency to notify them of work on the String Lakes WMA sites located approximately 2-miles west of Windom, MN. 2. Provide a backhoe for exploratory excavations to locate existing tile lines serving depression areas of design wetland sites. 3. Remove existing tiles lying beneath/serving proposed new wetland sites. 4. Reroute existing public tiles around proposed new wetland sites using solid wall replacement piping. 5. Provide excavation and grading equipment capable of relocating borrow clay to design embankment areas. 6. Provide water control structures to establish normal water levels for the proposed newly constructed wetlands. 7. Place embankment along MTH 62 to ensure water from the area wetland does not encroach on highway right-of-way. 8. Salvage the existing aggregate surfacing from the affected low-lying area of 450th Avenue. 9. Provide borrow fill to raise the low-lying area of 450th Avenue. 10. Uniformly reinstall the salvaged aggregate as the initial surfacing layer of the raised 450th Avenue. 11. Augment the salvaged aggregate surfacing with new Aggregate Surfacing material complete the design Aggregate Surface thickness. 12. Provide seeding and mulch to meet NPDES permitting requirements. .
