Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Carolina, Puerto Rico. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Enroute Construction Group, AAQ540 intends to prequalify contractors interested in receiving the RFO package for the Underground Utility Relocation and Parking Lot Modernization at the FAA San Juan (ZSU) Combined Control Facility (CCF) 5000 Carr 190 Carolina, Puerto Rico 00979. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to solicit information from Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) contractors, which the FAA will evaluate in accordance with the factors outlined within the announcement attachment "Pre-SIR/Sources Sought", from that information a list of qualified vendors will be developed. The NAICS code projected for this project is 237110 Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction with a size standard of $45.0 million. This procurement is set aside for HUBZone contractors. A HUBZone active status must be reflected in SAM.gov registration. All work shall be in accordance with the plans and specifications. 1. This project is set aside for HUBZone Certified Small Business concerns. 2. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 237110, Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction. The small business size standard is $45.0 million. 3. The project magnitude is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. 4. The date, time, meeting location, and point of contact for the site visit will be provided with the solicitation package should one be issued. 5. The contractor receiving award is expected to perform at least 25% of the work utilizing their own employees. 6. Contractors must have an active registration in System Award Management (SAM) before award can be made. Contractors can register at www.sam.gov/. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
