Renovation of an educational facility in Muncie, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Scope of Work to include, but not limited to: Replacement of existing gas fired, modular boiler and associated piping within boiler room with three highefficiency, gas-fired boilers and associated piping and controls. Replacement of two existing base mounted heating water circulation pumps with new in-line circulating pumps. Replacement of existing heating water expansion tank, air separator and other work indicated in contract documents. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or bank draft, made payable to the order of Dr. Sue Moore, Interim Vice President for Business Affairs and Treasurer for Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana, or by an acceptable bidder's bond for an amount not less than 5 percent of the total bid price. All copies of the Bid, the bid security, and any other documents required to be submitted with the Bid shall be enclosed in a sealed opaque envelope marked SEALED BID. The envelope shall be addressed to Ball State University Board of Trustees and shall be identified with the Project name, the Bidder's name and address and, if the Bid is sent by mail, the sealed envelope shall be enclosed in a separate mailing envelope marked "SEALED BID ENCLOSED" on the face thereof The contractor awarded work shall be required to furnish an acceptable surety bond in the full amount of the contract. ESTIMATED COST OF CONSTRUCTION: $195,000.00 Commence on site work on the 05/19/25 and Substantially Complete the Work by the 9/19/25
