Leon County is seeking the services of a qualified vendor to provide Basic Ground Maintenance Services for Leon County Parks and Recreation locations. Basic Grounds Maintenance Services includes mowing, weed eating, edging, blowing as needed. All services shall meet or exceed the performance specifications and requirements listed in this bid. The County reserves the right to negotiate with the successful bidder(s) for any unforeseen additions or deletions that may occur during the term of the Agreement. The County reserves the right to temporarily suspend services during any unexpected drought or other acts of nature that may slow the growth of any vegetation. The contract shall be for an initial period of approximately April 8, 2025, or upon final execution of this Agreement, and ending December 1, 2026. After the initial contract period, at the sole option of the County, this Agreement may be extended for up to four additional one (1) year periods. Such one (1) year extensions will be automatic unless the County provides written notice of non-renewal to the Contractor no less than thirty (30) days prior to the expiration date of the then current term. Such check, bank draft, or bond shall be submitted with the understanding that the bonds will be held until award of bid.
