This work consists of all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for the furnishing, installing, and removing of landscaping materials. This work would include, but is not limited to, loaming and seeding or loaming and hydroseeding all areas to establish grass following the installation of sidewalk and/or curbing on Town roadway improvement projects. The contractor will also assist the Town with the backfilling of curb as part of the Town's repaving program. This work would include, but is not limited to, loaming and seeding or loaming and hydroseeding all areas after curb and/or driveway aprons are installed by others to establish grass. This work will also include plantings as necessary at various locations throughout Town. All Bidders must file with their bid a bid bond, certified or treasurer's check in the amount of 10% of the total of the base bid made payable to the Town of West Hartford. Performance and Labor and Material Payment bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required of the successful bidder if the contract pursuant to this request for bids exceeds $50,000.00. All questions must be submitted in writing and emailed to the Purchasing Office, to procurement@westhartfordct.gov, by April 11, 2025. Do not call the Engineer, Engineering Division or Purchasing Office with questions.
