Safety Rail System at stair accessible area (possible safety areas as well). R&R Gutter Replacement. • Contractor selected will provide all labor and materials. requested materials The objective of this Request for Proposal is to locate a source that will provide the best overall value to CSHA. While price is a significant factor, other criteria will form the basis of our award decision, as more fully described in the Evaluation Factors section of this The following submission guidelines & requirements apply to this Request for Proposal: All properties are frequently visited by Housing Authority staff on a weekly basis and conduct site inspections. We will contact vendor if something is not correct or just needs more attention. Bidders’. intent on submitting a proposal should so notify a representative identified on the cover page no later than March 31, 2025 Bid opening and Award will be conducted on April 10, 2025 at 335 S. Wahsatch Ave Colorado Springs, CO 80903 if applicable. A technical proposal must be provided that is not more than 5 pages. This technical proposal must provide an overview of the proposed solution. In addition, the technical proposal should provide a proposed schedule and milestones, as applicable. A price proposal must be provided that is not more than 2 pages. This price proposal should include line-item pricing and indicate the overall completed price for the projects. Attention is cited to the provisions for equal payment of not less than the minimum salaries and wages set forth in the Contract Documents (Davis-Bacon Act). Minority and female owned businesses are encouraged to participate in this project. This project is governed be Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended. 12 U.S.C. 170Iu, requiring to the greatest extent feasible, opportunities for training and employment be given to lower income residents of the area and contracts be awarded to business concerns located in or owned in substantial part by persons residing in the area of the project All work is to be completed within ( 90 ) days after the date of the Notice to Proceed Payment Bonds. For construction contracts exceeding $25,000.00 (include in bid) the successful bidder will be required to furnish an assurance of completion. CSHA shall not award any contract until the prospective contractor, i.e., low responsive bidder or successful offeror, has been determined to be responsible. Contractor must carry Commercial General Liability Insurance for bodily injury and property damage $2,000,000.00 aggregate, $1,000,000.00 per occurrence. Contractor must carry Workers Compensation Insurance Proposals must be signed by a representative that is authorized to commit bidder’s company Proposals must remain valid for a period of 30 days after the scheduled date for receipt of bids. CSHA reserves the right to award to the bidder that presents the best value to CSHA as determined solely by CSHA in its absolute discretion.
