Reference Number 0000382108 The Town of Carolina Beach is seeking a Request for Bid to water jet / vactor all stormwater pipes, basins and culverts for FEMA reimbursement. The Town of Carolina Beach has 6 stormwater zones. Pricing will be by the zone with a mixture of pipe sizes to that zone. The map will be used to mark pipes areas completed; by identifying the length and size of the pipe as not all pipes are identified on the map. Question Deadline 04/16/2025 at 12:00 PM ET Questions are submitted online No jet a variety of iron (ductile), plastic (HDPE), reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) and Grey Strong Pipe ranging from 10" to 30", jetted in a sequence that provides immediate improvement of stormwater flow to the nearest outfall or retention pond. The Town of Carolina Beach has 6 stormwater zones. Zones will be referenced via the map provided and described below. Pricing will be by the zone with a mixture of pipe sizes to that zone. The map will be used to mark pipes areas completed; by identifying the length and size of the pipe as not all pipes are identified on the map Zone A: (East to West) Lake Park Blvd South to the Military Ocean Terminal Sunny Point (MOTSU) property (South to North) Alabama Ave to Ocean Blvd; drains to Texas pump station located at 302 Texas Ave via 12", 15", and 18", pipe size: 12" and 15" are the majority size. Very few 24" and 30" are in this sector. Zone B: (Est to West) Lake Park Blvd to MOTSU property (South to North) Ocean Blvd to Spartanburg Ave; drains to Greenville pump station located at 1000 2nd St South via 12", 15", and 18" pipe sizes. 15" and 18" are the majority size. Some sections of 24". Zone C (East to West) Carolina Beach Ave South to MOTSU property (South to Noth) Spartanburg Ave to Cape Fear Blvd, drains to Carolina Lake located at 400 Lake Park Blvd South via 12", 15", 18" and 24" pipe sizes. 15" and 18" are the majority size. Zone D (East to West) Lake Park Blvd to Dow Rd (South to North) Cape Fear Blvd to Bridge Barrier Rd; drains to Carolina Lake, Hennicker's ditch and the Carolina Beach Yacht basin via 15" and 18" pipe sizes. The majority is 15" with a 1/4 of the area with no stormwater drainage. Zone E (East to West) Carolina Beach Ave North to Lake Park Blvd (Soth to North) Carl Winner Ave to Spencer Farlow Dr. drains to the Carolina Beach Yacht basin located along Saint Joseph Street via 15", 18", 24" and 30" pipe sizes. The majority is 15". Zone F (East to West) Carolina Beach Ave North to Lake Park Blvd to (South to North) Cape Fear Blvd to Salt Marsh Lane drains to the Carolina Beach Yacht basin located along Canal drive via 12",15",18" and 30" pipe sizes. The majority is 15". The private Homeowners Associations (HOA)'s listed below will not be part of this cleaning. Oceana, Spinnakers Pointe, Lanier Landing, Carolina Village, Harbour Point, Water Fronte, Hidden Cove, Old Mariners Village, Ocean Ridge, Forest by The Sea, Island Forest. NCDOT Roads: Lake Park Blvd, Dow Road and Ocean Blvd will not be part of this cleaning. The Town will supply the water through a meter where the daily consumption will be tracked and consumption numbers supplied to the town. The Town will supply a place to dump on the island at 404 Dow Road inside the Wastewater Treatment plant drying beds #1 & 2. The Contractor will be responsible for the haul away of material and disposal at the New Hanover County Landfill after the material has dried. Landfill tickets will be turned over to the town. Town will not supply bladders, pumps, traffic control or any equipment to assist in the scope of work. Allowable work hours are 7:00am-6:00pm Monday through Friday. No work on Holidays.
