The City of Ottawa is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for the removal and land application of water treatment sludge from our North sludge retention basin located at the City's Water Treatment Plant (301 Beech St.) Ottawa, Kansas. The sludge primarily consists of lime and aluminum sulfate from the City's water treatment process. This project is essential to maintaining regulatory compliance and ensuring the efficient operation of the City's water treatment system. The selected contractor will be responsible for all aspects of sludge removal, transportation, and disposal in accordance with applicable environmental regulations. Incomplete proposals or proposals inconsistent with the required format may be disqualified from consideration.
