Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Sleepy Hollow, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The work consists of the construction of a permeable brick paver walkway and a perforated underdrain, adjacent to River Street in the Village of Sleepy Hollow. Other related work shall include the removal and hauling of the existing stonedust walkway, protection of existing site features along the residential housing and walkways, as well as preparing, restoring and cleaning the project area all in accordance with the plans and specifications as directed by the Engineer. An alternate has been added to this project which includes the construction of an additional permeable brick walkway at Horan Landing. This project is also known as Ichabod's Landing Public Access Improvements. Minority-Owned Business Enterprise goal is $38,967. Woman-Owned Business Enterprise goal is $38,967. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business goal for purchasing commodities, services and technology in the performance of this contract, with a goal of reaching 6%. Bidders shall promptly notify Mr. Giaccio of any errors, omissions, conflicts or ambiguity within the Contract Documents within five (5) days of bid opening. Question Deadline 04/11/2025 Bids shall be made on the separate Bid Proposal Forms furnished with the Specifications and must be accompanied by a Bid Bond acceptable to the Village or a certified cashiers check drawn on a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 5% of the total amount of the Bid. Checks shall be made payable to the Village of Sleepy Hollow, New York, and are to be held by the Village as a guarantee for the proper execution and delivery of the Contract and bonds to secure the faithful performance thereof. In default of such execution and delivery of Contract and Bonds, the amount of the deposit represented by the check shall be forfeited to and retained by the Village of Sleepy Hollow as liquidated damages. The Village of Sleepy Hollow reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any informality in any Bid, and to award the Contract to other than the lowest Bidder if deemed in the best interest of the Village to do so.
