All work for the complete construction of the Project will be under one or more prime contracts with the Owner based on bids received and on combinations awarded. The Construction Manager will manage the construction of the Project. Bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidders will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds for one hundred percent (100%) of their Contract amount prior to execution of Contracts. It is anticipated that construction will start within 160 calendar days after receipt of bids. Construction shall be complete within 340 consecutive calendar days, or earlier, after Notice to Proceed. Event pre-bid note: A Pre-Bid Conference will be held virtually. A Site Walkthrough is scheduled for 1:00 PM. Attendance by bidders is optional, but recommended, in order to clarify or answer questions concerning the Drawings and Project Manual for the Project.
