Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Jackson Township, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Only ODOT pre-qualified contractors are eligible to submit bids for this project. Pre-qualification must be in force at the time of the bid, at the time of the award, and through the life of the construction contact. Subcontractors are not subject to the pre-qualification requirement. The bidding contractor must perform no less than 30 percent of the total original contract price. As specified in Ohio Revised 153.54, a bidder must submit a bid guaranty in the form of either (1) a bond for the full amount of the bid or (2) a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit in the amount of 10% of the bid. The Logan County Commissioners and Ohio Department of Transportation are to be named as obliges. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) Goal is 6%. LOG CR 21B-0.05
