Lawndell Rd Bridge Replacement. DBE Goal: 10%. Construction Work shall be completed 150 Calendar Days after date of Notice to Proceed is issued. Upon receiving a responsible and responsive low bid, the County will proceed with Award of the Contract. Time is of the essence to this agreement. Questions are required to be submitted by May 12, 2025. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in the form of (1) a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid payable to the Stark County Treasurer; or (2) a Bid Guaranty bond for the full amount of the bid; both forms of guaranties as provided in Chapter 153 of the Ohio Revised Code and in these Specifications. The Stark County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received, and to accept any bid which is deemed most favorable to the County at the time and under the conditions stipulated. The Engineer will review all bids for irregularities and unbalancing. Any unbalancing or irregularities found may be cause for rejection of the entire bid. The commissioners further declare that they will award the contract for this project to the lowest and best bid which may not necessarily be the lowest bid. No single factor will control the Board's decision to award, and the Board reserves the right to exercise its full discretion.
