Reference Number 0000382297 The purpose of this Request for Qualifications/Proposal is to obtain qualifications, capabilities, and a pricing structure from qualified firms interested in providing Building Commissioning Services for the construction and support of a new PK-1 Elementary School in the Mapleton School District. In Thornton CO, Mapleton School District owns and operates the Explore PK-8 school. During the initial planning phases of the property, Mapleton had a long-term goal to build a supplemental school that would provide support for a larger number of early childhood students. The property is currently owned by the Mapleton School District and is located near the intersection of 104th Ave and York Street - in the city of Thornton. The district has grown to a place where they would like to fulfill their initial goal for a second building. The new building will be a PK-1 school building that will dramatically increase space for early childhood. Having been apart of the district's goals, the existing property is large enough to support both the current Explore PK-8 building as well as the newly planned PK-1 school.
