The City of Haverhill is seeking bids from DCAMM certified contractors to provide all labor and materials for the installation or a new aluminum and glass replacement skylight (approximate size 32'x17') on the roof of the Haverhill Citizen Center at 10 Welcome Street per the specifications, provisions, and requirements of this IFB023.25 and the manufacturer's specifications; including the removal and disposal of the old skylight, and the provision of 1 year workmanship/materials and 10 year manufacturer's warranties. B. General scope of work and specifications include the following: 1. Coordinate with skylight manufacturer to ensure correct product specs and dimensions for location. 2. Mobilize to site and install roof protection/site safety measures. 3. Provide crane hoisting from parking lot. 4. Remove and dispose of existing skylight system (see photos). 5. Provide temporary watertight rain protection of skylight opening (when needed). 6. Rework existing curb as required to accept new skylight system (curb blocking to be added to achieve 8" roof flashing height and installed as required to accept new skylight system). 7. Furnish and install 500 SF Kalwall (or equal) double pitched skylight system (2 3/4 " deep with an 8" x 20" Shoji grid pattern on translucent white panels, with panel slope of 27.25 degrees. 8. Wrap new skylight curb in EPDM and tie in 9" into roof field (Tie in using UniBond tape followed by a LiquiTec coating application at 3 gal/ SQ). 9. Final site clean and roof clean after skylight replacement is complete. 10. Coordinate final manufacturer's inspection and sign-off of the new skylight installation. C. Warranties: Contractor shall provide a 1-year Workmanship and Materials Warranty; and a 10-year skylight manufacturer's materials and workmanship warranty. D. Skylight will be ordered from the manufacturer within 1 month of contract execution, and the project shall be completed within 6 months of contract execution, but no later than September 15, 2025.
