No definite date for the rebid.** Nettle Middle School Elevator Rehabilitation and Upgrades Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. The City of Haverhill is seeking bids from DCAMM Prime certified Elevator contractors to Rehabilitate and Upgrade the Elevator at the Nettle Middle School located at 150 Boardman Street (128-P-278 / H17504). B. General Scope of Work includes the provision of all labor and materials to perform the following: 1. Remove and discard the existing hydraulic main elevator controller from the machine room and the floor landing system from the inside hoist way enclosure. 2. Furnish and install one new code compliant non-proprietary hydraulic elevator microprocessor based programmable controller, equipped with on-board diagnostics, integrated user interface and solid-state soft start feature. The main elevator control must be engineered and designed for hydraulic simplex operation and future capability for fire services operation and ADA signal control. 3. Replace the existing car operating panel with an ADA compatible stainless steel one containing a bank of mechanical, illuminated buttons marked to correspond to landings served, an emergency call button, emergency stop button, door open and close buttons and a light switch. The emergency call button shall be connected to a bell that serves as an emergency signal. 4. Furnish and install new floor landing system/positioning system located in the hoist way with car mounted electronic reader that transmits exact positioning of car to main controller, improving approach, landing zone transition, leveling sequence, and position accuracy. 5. Furnish and install new car and hoist way wiring with multiconductor care traveling cable and strain relief hardware. 6. Furnish and install new hoist way travel and access limit switches. 7. Remove existing and install extended surface mounted hall buttons at each landing. Faceplates shall be stainless steel. Buttons will coincide with terminal landings and intermittent landings. 8. Clean hoist way, rails, and pump excess liquid out. 9. Check to ensure there is no leakage from the main piston seal. 10. Top off hydraulic fluid as needed. 11. As an alternate, price replacing piston main seal and packing.
