The types of contracts available under the MCC Program are construction projects, facility repairs, neighborhood improvements, emergency repairs and maintenance work with a maximum value of $5.0M; ORD 09-101. All capital departments are participating. Additional opportunities are available through Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) which enables low-income families to reduce their energy bills by making their homes more energy efficient. Funds are used to improve the energy performance of dwellings by families in need, using the most advanced technologies and testing procedures available in the housing industry. Measures to make homes more energy efficient include: replacement or installation of key components, installation of energy recovery ventilation systems including bathroom and kitchen exhaust fans and installation of whole mechanical exhaust systems to provide better indoor air quality, install attic insulation, install window solar films, repair or replace inefficient cooling units, repair or replace water heaters and address air infiltration with weather stripping, caulking thresholds, minor wall repairs, ceiling and floors, windows and doors. ESTIMATED COST: $598,445.00 CONTRACTOR shall review all documents, specifications, plans and scope of work provided by Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation, and Open Spaces Department for work to be completed. Furnish all labor, equipment, and materials required to comply with the intent of the WORK described in the contract documents including but not limited to: Country Lake Park: Removal of architectural barriers at existing park for compliance with ADA requirements and improvements of site elements and buildings including, walkway repairs, installation of new concrete slabs and ADA site furnishings, retrofit and reconfiguration of existing dugouts, retrofits of restroom fixtures, restriping of ADA parking spaces. Colonial Drive Park: Removal of architectural barriers at existing park for compliance with ADA requirements and improvements of elements and buildings to include, walkway repairs, installation of new concrete slabs and ADA site furnishings, retrofit and reconfiguration of existing dugouts repairs, alterations to existing buildings to include improvements to existing restrooms and accessible entrances. The Colonial Drive Park site is subject to an Engineering Control Maintenance Plan approved by DERM for the environmental remediation previously conducted at the park site. All work within the boundaries of the engineering control boundary shall comply with the requirements of the Engineering Control Maintenance Plan and the construction documents referenced in the project drawings and specifications. Experience Requirement: Bidder or Bidders Subcontractor shall have completed at least two (2) projects of similar size and scope; in lieu of the references from the Bidder or Bidders Subcontractor, the County will consider the references from Bidder's key personnel in accordance with Resolution No. R-1122- 21. Bidder shall provide evidence of this experience; project names; dollar values and contract information for verification purposes. The experience of the bidding or proposing Contractors key personnel will be considered in assessing the Contractor's experience.
