Site work for a transportation facility in Sac City, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
Furnishing all labor, materials and equipment and performing all work necessary to construct Rotating Beacon with Tip-Down Pole and Terminal Area Fencing. In general, this work will require the following approximate quantities: 5' Chain-Link Fence (558 LF); 16' Chain-Link Cantilever Sliding Vehicle Gate (2 EA); L-802A(L) Class II Airport Rotating Beacon Installation; Tip Down Beacon Tower (1 LS); 2/C #600V Cables with #6 Ground (420 LF); 4/C #600V Cables with #6 Ground (462 LF); 2" SCH 40 Electrical Conduit (295 LF); 2" SCH 80 Directional Boring (151 LF); Electrical Vault Work; Seeding. Questions regarding bids shall be directed to Heather Olson, P.E., at 402.938.2460. Contractors bidding need not be pre-qualified but shall be qualified to do the work. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the amount of five (5) percent of the total amount of the bid. The bid guaranty may be a cashier's check, a certified check on a solvent bank or a bid bond made payable to City of Sac City. This project is subject to the requirements of 49 CFR Part 26 Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Participation. The Airport Sponsor has established a contract participation goal of 4.44% for small business concerns owned and controlled by certified disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE). Timetables: Goals for minority participation for each trade: 0.4% Goals for female participation in each trade: 6.9%
