1) SCOPE: Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section2165.001, Custodianship of State Property, and Section 2156.121, Use ofCompetitive Sealed Proposals, the Texas Facilities Commission is requestingresponses to this Request for Proposal for the provision of plumbing servicesfor various facilities owned and managed by the Texas Facilities Commissionlocated throughout Texas with the majority of the work in Austin, TX. TFC managed facilities include the facilities,locations, and buildings listed in Attachment F - TFC Building List.Plumbing services will be in office buildings, low-rise and high-rise,cottages, laboratory buildings, K-12 schools, garages, utility plants, andwarehouses. It is the intention of TFC to award multiple contracts from thissolicitation. If awarded, services willbe on an as-needed basis. There is noguarantee of assigned or volume of work. 2) CONTRACT TERM: This serviceshall be for a period beginning on the date the contract, as defined below, isexecuted by both parties, and shall expire on August 31, 2027. The contract may be renewed for two (2)additional two (2) year periods, provided the renewal is executed prior toexpiration of the current contract term.
