Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Old Fort, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Question Deadline 04/21/2025 All questions must be received and addressed at least seven (7) business days prior to the date fixed for receiving Bids. The Town of Old Fort will accept sealed bids for the construction of the Old Fort Streetscape Project located along Catawba Avenue. Project will include installation of asphalt paving, concrete sidewalks, landscaping, and pavers. The scope also includes underground storm drainage pipe, structures, and utility conduit. Requests for information shall utilize the pre-bid question form included in the project manual and be directed to the Landscape Architect via email at bids@dbdplanning.com. All bids must be accompanied by a bid bond or cashier's check in the amount of 5% of the bid payable to Town of Old Fort. Town of Old Fort reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Vendors submitting bids are encouraged to solicit Minority Business Enterprise / Women's Business Enterprise Participation in fulfilling their contract. The bid should indicate MBE/WBE areas of involvement. The successful bidder shall comply with all Federal and State requirements concerning fair employment and treatment of all employees, without regard or discrimination by reason of race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin or physical handicap.
