This Request for Quotations (the "RFQ") is an invitation by Loyalist Township (the "Township") to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for Amherstview Water Pollution Control Plant (WPCP) Geotechnical Investigation, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix B) (the "Deliverables"). Work will include but not be limited to, desktop study, field analysis, and final written reports for each of the following components: Part A: Geotechnical Investigation - in support of proposed new construction for plant design requirements Part B: Berm Stability Review - for vehicular traffic Draft Reports to be provided prior to June 20, 2025. This work will be completed, in its entirety prior to July 11, 2025. Question Deadline: Thu Apr 17, 2025 4:00:00 PM (EDT) The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. Site Walkthrough Event The purpose of this site visit is to provide Respondents an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the Work and existing conditions. The mandatory site visit are the Respondents only opportunity to inspect the premises. Attendance at the time and place, specified during the site visit request, is mandatory for all Respondents and is a condition of contract award. In the event that no potential respondents or only one potential respondent attends the site visit, the Township, at their sole discretion, reserves the right to schedule a second mandatory or non-mandatory site visit, to ensure the competitiveness of this procurement opportunity. No information provided at the site meetings shall be binding unless such information is included in a subsequent Addendum. As a condition of entering any portion of the site, including without limitation as part of any briefing conducted pursuant to this RFP, the Proponent irrevocably accepts full liability for any and all events arising from, or in connection with, any site access. Further, the Proponent agrees to indemnify the Township, including its servants, agents, representative, and employees, for any loss or damages suffered by the Proponent, the Township, or any third party arising, either directly or indirectly, in contract or in tort, from, or in connection with, any acts or omissions of the Proponent or its servants, employees, agents, and representatives.
