The replacement of old water main valves needed for day-to-day water treatment plant operations. The valves to be replaced consist of (1) 24 butterfly valve, (1) 20 butterfly valve, (2) 12 gate valves. One 12 gate valve will be replaced with a 12 butterfly valve. The work also consists of the installation of (1) 12 insertion valve. Base paving will be required for all valve locations, final paving will be required for the work on Forge Pond Road. The replacement of (1) 12 Gate Valve and the installation of the 12 Insertion Valve will take place on Forge Pond Road. Note: This project is not funded by the New Jersey Environmental Infrastructure Financing Program (NJEIFP). Each prospective bidder will have to provide the appropriate installation references and certifications to the satisfaction of the Owner. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check for an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid or a maximum of $20,000.00; such certification to be without condition or qualification, and the check made payable to The Brick Township Municipal Utilities Authority. Brick Utilities reserves the right to waive any minor informalities or non-material exceptions/defects in a bid.
