This is a service / maintenance or supply contract in Oxford, North Carolina. Contact the soliciting agency for additional information.
Granville County ("County") is conducting a qualification-based selection process for firms experienced in providing space analysis and master facility planning services who wish to be considered for providing such services to the County as more particularly described herein. The County is located directly north of Wake and Durham Counties. The County is growing and planning for increased demand for governmental services and employee recruitment over the coming decades. County departments and employees are stationed in various buildings and offices across the County. The County has an ageing group of facilities that are getting to a point where they can no longer serve the growing departments' needs nor serve the public properly. With the growth of the County, age of some facilities, and size of the workforce, the County has decided to study existing county facilities for space needs. This space needs assessment will inform a facilities master plan, and this master plan will explore alternatives and capital improvement opportunities to facilitate space need improvements found through the assessment. The work to be performed will involve reviewing and updating current data along with studying and documenting the specific space needs of the County and its related agencies, which will include specific County departments and related agency functions that occupy space in county owned/leased buildings. The work to be performed will involve showing an efficient, effective, and functional analysis of space allocations for facilities. The space assessment should inform a second phase of the project, which will include finding and presenting options in the form of high-level master plans for space allocations and capital improvements, as well as possibilities and designs for new facilities. All costs incurred in the preparation of the RFQ will be completely absorbed by the responding party to the RFQ. Any material submitted that is confidential must be clearly marked as such. Question Deadline 04/25/2025 at 3:00 PM ET Questions relating to this RFQ should be directed to the Development Services Director Scott Phillips at (919) 603-1425 or by email to scott.phillips@granvillecounty.org. Please note for any such questions, email subject lines should be titled "Questions for RFQ - Space Needs Assessment and Master Plan Development". It is the policy of the County to provide minorities and women equal opportunity for participating in all aspects of the County's contracting and procurement programs, including but not limited to employment, construction development projects, and materials/services, consistent with the laws of the State of North Carolina. The policy of the County prohibits discrimination against any person or business in pursuit of these opportunities on the basis of sex (including pregnancy, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression or transgender status), race, color, religion, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristic. It is further the policy of the County to conduct its contracting and procurement programs so as to prevent such discrimination and to resolve any and all claims of such discrimination. All materials shall be submitted electronically in Adobe Acrobat 9.0 (or later) PDF format (preferably in one file) by the date indicated in the schedule below. No printing, binding, or other paper handling is required. Paper submittals will be accepted but will not be accepted in lieu of an electronic copy. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
