Renovation of a fire / police facility in Lakeland, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
LPD-911 COMM CENTER RENOVATION- Renovation to the Lakeland Police Department third floor public safety communications center. The general scope of work includes installing (19) new call center workstations and a reconfiguration to the northwest corner of the communications center. A data cable tray system will be installed under the raised floor system along with new structured cabling throughout and reworking the electrical branch circuits to each workstation. The communications center and the north corridor will receive new carpet, wall paint, ceiling light fixtures, and other miscellaneous work as specified in the construction documents. ITB questions deadline April 15, 2025, 5:00pm All Questions regarding this invitation to bid shall be in writing and submitted electronically via the Portal through the Question and Answer tab before 5:00 pm on Tuesday, April 15, 2025. Responses will be released on the Question and Answer Tab. A certified check or bid bond shall accompany each bid. The certified check or bid bond shall be for an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid price and shall be made payable to the Owner as a guarantee that the Bidder will not withdraw for a period of sixty (60) days after bid closing time. The City of Lakeland at its sole discretion reserves the right to waive technicalities or irregularities, to reject any or all bids, and/or to accept that bid which is in the best interest of the City.
