The University of North Texas System (UNTS) intends to establish Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) agreements with one or more qualified firms to provide Structural Engineering Services in support of ongoing and future facilities initiatives. These professional services may be required for individual projects at any of UNTSs component institutions, including but not limited to the University of North Texas in Denton, the UNT Health Science Center in Fort Worth, UNT Dallas, and UNT at Frisco Services provided under this contract may include comprehensive structural engineering for new construction and renovation projects, technical studies, laser scanning of existing facilities, structural load and capacity analyses, forensic investigations, construction-phase technical support, and other specialized services that fall within the practice of structural engineering. These IDIQ contracts are intended to provide on-call professional expertise that can be deployed flexibly to meet the needs of a wide range of facility types and scales. The contracts will be used to support capital improvement projects, deferred maintenance needs, infrastructure upgrades, and emergency response requirements. Projects may include academic buildings, research laboratories, residence halls, athletic and recreational facilities, dining centers, historic structures, and utility-supporting infrastructure. Each IDIQ contract will have a maximum value of $900,000 over its full term, including two one-year renewal options. Individual service orders issued under the agreement will not exceed $300,000. The actual scope of work, timeline, and deliverables for each service order will be determined at the time of request and negotiated based on the contracts approved rate schedule. This IDIQ agreement allows for the issuance of service orders for specific projects, with individual service orders not exceeding $300,000 and a cumulative contract total not exceeding $900,000 over the contract term, including any optional renewals. All questions must be received no later than 2:00p.m. CDT on April 15, 2025. All questions and answers will be posted to the website by 5:00p.m. CDT on April 18, 2025.
