The City of University Park ("City") announces an Request for Proposals ("RFP") for SNIDER PLAZA LARGE STREET TREES The City is in the final phases of the Snider Plaza Phase 1 Paving Improvements. The final portion of this project is the installation of trees and landscaping. Question & Answer End Date Tuesday, April 22, 2025 4:00 pm Response Submission Deadline:May 2, 2025, 10:00am All questions must be submitted through online Contract Duration May 2025 - December 2025 This is a one (1) time contract. Procurement and installation should take place between May and December 2025, in consultation and coordination with the City. Warranty maintenance term should begin immediately after each tree is transplanted and last for twelve (12) months. The City will work with the Successful Bidder regarding the exact timing. Paper proposals must include one (1) unbound original document in a sealed, opaque envelope bearing the respondent's company name, address, RFP title, City of University Park RFP number, date, and time stated for the submission deadline. E-mail or Facsimile (FAX) submissions will not be accepted. All proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond worth five percent (5%) of the total proposal amount. The City's preferred bid bond form is included in the Vendor Questionnaire. The Successful Respondent will also be required to get performance and payment bonds worth one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract value, and a maintenance bond good for one (1) year after the tree is installed. Such bonds will be required after contract award but before notice to proceed is issued.
