St. Johns County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids/proposals, waive minor informalities, or award the bid/proposal which best serves the interests of St. Johns County. A. Shelter constructed of marine grade tongue and groove aluminum extrusion. B. Must have a white marine grade powder coated ceramic. C. Must be of modular design to allow for assembly on site prior to installation and shall have the ability to be moved with equipment. D. Must be designed for a highly corrosive, high saline environment. E. The base should be constructed using anodized marine grade aluminum and shall have an open bottom having two (2) aluminum skids with four (4) towing eyes. F. The deck should be made of embossed composite decking materials on walking surfaces elevated at a minimum of six (6') feet above ground with railing made of anodized aluminum marine grade pipe that is corrosion resistant. G. The tower should have front access low angle aluminum stairs with railings. H. Have a two-piece interlocking roof system with three (3") inches of insulation skinned with white aluminum panels and finished with white fascia. I. Roof must have a slope of minimum of three (3) degrees to allow for water runoff. J. The tower must have ventilation hatches for cross ventilation. K. Have sloped, high impact, tinted windows with folding window shutters. L. Main windows shall be high quality36 inch tall and aluminum framed with minimal blind spots in the front corners. M. Shutters must be made of powder coated aluminum tube and aluminum sheet. N. Shutters shall have aluminum supports and pins for securing. O. The tower must have a thirty (30") inch aluminum side door which has high impact, tinted glass window and shutter. P. The door shall also have stainless steel handles and an area for a deadbolt. Q. The tower must have locking mechanisms for all doors and shutters. R. Hardware, fasteners, hinges and latches shall be made of marine grade stainless steel. S. Provide a Powder coated aluminum flagpole with a height no less than ten (10') feet.
