Nashville Fire Department Fire Station 24 Design and Construction Services Metro reserves the right to issue additional rounds as it deems necessary for the purposes of evaluation. Additional rounds may include, but not be limited to, Offeror interviews. Metro reserves the right to make multiple awards for a contract if it is deemed in the best interest of Metro. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to establish a contract with a contractor for the design and construction of a new 3 Bay Fire Station for the Nashville Fire Department. The Fire Station will be built on Metro owned property located at 3500 John Mallette Dr., Nashville, TN, 37218. Conceptually, the facility will be approximately 20,487 square feet on approximately 1.5 acres of mostly greenfield land. The project will include 42 parking spaces including 2 handicap spaces. This new 3 Bay Fire Station will be similar to Metro's current prototype. The most recent 3 Bay Fire Station is Station 32 located at 4248 Andrew Jackson Pkwy, Hermitage, TN 37076 completed in 2020. The Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) target value for this project, including design phase and preconstruction services is $13.2 million. Metro has the right to set the final contract value.
