The Municipality of North Grenville is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide professional services for detailed design, construction, supply, and installation of an accessible floating dock, including an accessible kayak launch at Curry Park, Kemptville. Scope of Project: o Detailed design, construction and installation of a new, universally accessible floating dock system that includes an accessible kayak launch. o Dock design or system to have modular type methodology for future growth of the dock system. o Dock to be constructed of rust/corrosion free materials. o Any shoreline alterations to facilitate installation are the responsibility of the contractor. o Dock/gangway connection to shore line must include a solid precast concrete base for anchoring and a safe accessible transition to granular base. o Proponents must take into consideration the seasonal removal of the dock as the Municipality has limited resources. i.e., no municipal boat.
