Renovation of a transportation facility in Cambridge, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
The Airport Terminal consists of one level with of 25 rooms plus hallways totaling approximately 8,400 sq.ft. Exterior lighting will consist of approximately 24 dusk-to-dawn lighting fixtures in the parking lot. Bids should include a simple payback period calculation and a proposed lighting schedule. Use of occupancy activated lighting is encouraged where applicable. The winning bidder will design, source and install the LED lighting for the facility. The design may include using existing fixtures and shall function using the existing facility power architecture. The proposal shall include all necessary design, materials, disposal and labor for a completed installation. All bids must consider the Airport Terminal remains in operation during the construction period. Pre-proposal inspection is required by all potential bidders. The Airport Terminal building will be available for pre-proposal inspection and assessment by appointment only by contacting the Airport Manager at (410) 228-4571. Blue prints and electricity bills will be made available during pre-proposal inspection and assessment visit. The County Council reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or parts of proposals when it is judged in the best interest of the County.
