Weber Basin Water Conservancy District (District) is requesting Statements of Qualification (SOQs) to provide professional engineering services for the Drilling of the North Weber #2 Well Project. The purpose of this project is to evaluate drilling method(s) most likely to result in a culinary production well that meets or exceeds the anticipated production range, prepare documents in accordance with the Districts procurement policy to procure a qualified well drilling contractor, prepare well drilling documents to be used for bidding the project, and bidding and construction management. The successful consultant will also be responsible for helping the District meet state regulations under R309-515 (Facility Design and Operation for Source Development, see Attachment D) and assuming a successful well; R309-600 (Drinking Water Source Protection for Groundwater Sources, see Attachment E). The successful well driller shall be responsible for meeting Utah Rule R655-4 (Water Wells). The District is responsible for procuring all necessary permits and approvals from the Division of Water Rights. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
