Demolition, site work, paving and renovation of a bridge / tunnel in Raymond, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the renovation of a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Bridge Replacement No. 34J57 located on 75th Ave SW, approximately 0.15 miles east of State Highway 23. Combined estimated quantities of work are: 12'x10' Precast Conc Box Culvert - 128 LIN FT, 12x 10 Precast Concrete Box Culvert End Sections - 4 EACH, Remove Existing Bridge - 1 LUMP SUM, Aggregate Surfacing Class 5 - 217 TON, Common Embankment (CV)(P) - 1514 CU YD, Granular Bedding 252 TON, Coarse Aggregate Bedding - 252 TON, Random Riprap Class 3 (Quarry-run) -130 CU YD, Turf Establishment and other miscellaneous construction items. A bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid must be uploaded with all bids. Minimum wage rates to be paid by the contractor have been predetermined. Read carefully the wage scales contained in the Special Provisions, as they affect this project. Attention is called to the fact that the contractor must comply with the Special Equal Employment Opportunity Provisions, contained in the proposal. The County Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any defects or technicalities therein and to award the contract in the best interest of the County. Melvin W.
