The Martinez Hall Upgrades project includes planning, design, renovation, and construction of improvements including mechanical, electrical, and fire system upgrades, American with Disabilities (ADA) improvements to the site, interior, and restrooms, renovations to centralize student services, refresh of building interior finishes, and updates to consolidate student services and laboratory capacity. Specific recommended improvements include: Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing Upgrades (Upgrade electrical service, Expand the fire-suppression system, Upgrade the Voice over Internet Protocol (VOiP) system, Upgrade mechanical and electrical systems throughout Martinez Hall) Special System Upgrades (Upgrade the Energy Management System, Install Electronic Access Controls) Renovation / Refurbishment / Repurposing (ADA Exterior and Interior Improvements, Functional and Educational Setting Upgrades) The project is included in the state's 2026-2028 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of March 18, 2026, information regarding design firm, construction manager, and general contractor has not been released, project is not yet funded.
