**As of May 21, 2025, the project was awarded to Schroeder Asphalt Services, with an awarded amount of $1,519,824.15.** The work consists of hot-mix asphalt surface removal and replacement, pavement patching, driveway repair, combination concrete curb and gutter removal and replacement, ADA sidewalk removal and replacement, other miscellaneous work; and Various City-Wide improvements consisting of hot-mix asphalt patching, sidewalk removal and replacement, combination concrete curb and gutter removal and replacement, pavement marking removal, and thermoplastic pavement marking. Approximately 12,500 square yards of asphalt resurfacing; asphalt pavement patching; sidewalk replacement; curb and gutter replacement; and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project. The Work shall be performed along Sanchez Drive, and all connecting courts, from Branch Avenue to Batavia Road. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, bank draft, cashier's check or certified check payable to the order of the City of Warrenville, Illinois, in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid, as a guaranty that the bidder will execute the contract, if it is awarded, in conformity with the bid form. A current IDOT Certificate of Eligibility shall also be provided with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds on forms provided in the Specifications and Contract Documents, each in an amount equal to 100 percent of the contract price. The Owner expressly reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept the one that appears to be in the best interest of the Owner. The Owner expressly reserves the right to waive any informalities or technical irregularities in a bid if to do so is in the best interest of the Owner.
