The building may have asbestos containing building materials, ACBM, and presumed asbestos containing building materials, PACBM, in identified locations. All materials utilized in this / these project(s) must be asbestos and lead free. In accordance with MiOSHA regulations, contractor employees who work in areas where they may contact, but not disturb asbestos containing materials, must receive asbestos awareness training from their employer. The Contractor will complete the project based on specifications listed below and all manufacturer instructions related to the use of the products selected. The scope of this project is to bring the district into compliance with Michigan Clean Drinking Water Access Act known as Filter First. This involves removal of existing non-compliant fixtures and installation of new compliant fixtures, as well as modification of existing fixtures to bring them into compliance. Fixtures include but are not limited to bubblers, bottle fillers, drinking fountains, water coolers, faucets, ice machines, and pot fillers. Provide a filter for each fixture upon installation and one replacement filter for each fixture. Provide and install all necessary drainage fittings, water supplies, electrical cords, mounting hardware, etc. for complete installation. Provide and install any plate, cover, panel, trim, or any other item necessary for a clean and Owner acceptable final appearance.
