Renovation of a military facility in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.

This Project involves: Provide security upgrades for NAS Oceana Building 310 in accordance with Controlled Area standards per Fleet requirements for study and training support infrastructure consolidation. The existing building is approximately 10,184 SF. The area of work encompasses security upgrades for brief/debrief spaces from Open Secret Storage (OSS) to Controlled Area standards. The Controlled Area perimeter must have a minimum Sound Transmission Coefficient (STC) of 50. Security upgrades will also include RF shielding to 60 Db level of mitigation. Incorporation of RF shielding for the area of work will require demolition of the existing construction within the planned secure boundary. The project will provide a controlled entrance space, separated from the adjoining spaces. Four Debrief spaces will be reconfigured to incorporate a new egress corridor with an emergency exit. The renovation will also include a Live Room, Storage Room, Servers Room, Mission Planning Room, Entry Control Room and Admin Room. ONLY CONTRACTORS ON THIS MACC ID CAN SUBMIT A PROPOSAL. Estimated Budget Amount or Price Range: In accordance with FAR 36.204 Disclosure of the Magnitude of Construction Projects, the estimated price range for this project is between 5,000,000 and 10,000,000. Contract completion date is 730 calendar . The are calculated from date of task order award, which includes the initial 15 allowed for distribution of the task order award, submission and approval of insurance, ing and other requirements set forth in the task order/MACC. Task order award is considered notice to proceed. Question Deadline 04/22/2025 at 2:00 PM ET Liquidated damages: In accordance with FAR 52.211-12 Liquidated Damages, if the Contractor fails to complete the work within the time specified in the contract, the Contractor shall pay liquidated damages to the Government in the amount of 1,029.89 for each calendar day of delay until the work is completed or accepted. PPIs must be submitted in writing on the attached Pre-Proposal Inquiry Form (ATTACHMENT F) to Jessica Grosso at jessica.m.grosso.civus.navy.mil no later than 16 April 2025 2:00 PM EDT. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
