Site work for a civil project in Fort Worth, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and water / sewer project.
As of September 08, 2025, the project was awarded to Concord Commercial Services, Inc., with an awarded amount of $46,965.43. The scope of work shall be based on the final Drawings and Specifications prepared by the Irrigation designer. The work may consist of, but is not limited to, the following 1. Selective demolition and new construction of the sprinkler system. 2. Installation of new commercial grade irrigation system controller, rain and temperature sensor, irrigation lines, spray heads and rotors, drip tubing, bubblers, quick couplers, valve wiring, irrigation controller and any other components required for a complete system. 3. Boring under existing sidewalks and paving and installation of specified sleeving where sleeving does not exist. B. The work does not include inspection services, the testing of construction material engineering, and the verification testing services necessary for Owner's acceptance of the Project, which will be performed under a separate contract with an independent provider, as required by law. C. The irrigation contractor will be required, as part of this work, to return to the site after the sod is installed in the rock and decomposed granite areas and set all irrigation heads to the final grade. Removal of the rock and decomposed granite, infilling of topsoil to grade, preparation of topsoil to receive planting, and planting of sod in these areas will be done by others. D. The irrigation contractor shall complete the final setting of sprinkler heads after the sod installation, which will be conducted by another contractor. It is important to note that 5% of the bidder's lump sum bid will be withheld and can only be invoiced upon the completion of head setting. The estimated duration for the sod installation is 2 to 4 days, with a projected completion date in the second week of September 2025. The irrigation contractor is required to account for this delay in payment within their pricing for the work. Acceptance of the sprinkler heads set to final grade will be conducted by Tarrant County or an authorized representative. Upon receiving written acceptance from Tarrant County for the irrigation work, including the setting of sprinkler heads to final grade, the contractor may submit invoices for the remainder of payment. Question Cuttoff Date & Time 7/18/2025 12:00:00 PM (ET) The purpose of this contract is to install a new and efficient irrigation system. The project features an improved landscape irrigation design with new hardware including valves, controllers, and PVC pipes.
