The Housing & Redevelopment Authority of Virginia, Minnesota will accept separate bids for the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and services necessary for the Building Improvements Project including all associated work required to install / repair same as shown in bid documents. The projects construction start is anticipated to be in late Spring / early Summer 2025. It is the Bidder's responsibility to inquire as to the addenda issued. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the The Housing & Redevelopment Authority of Virginia, Minnesota or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the Bidder(s) and an acceptable surety, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid, must be submitted with each bid. No less than minimum salaries and wages set forth in the contract documents must be paid on this project including the applicable minimum wage requirements of the State of Minnesota Prevailing Wage Law - Minnesota Statues 177.41 through 177.44. Contractors must take affirmative action to ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, age, sexual orientation, disability, familial status or status with regard to public assistance. HUD, Section 3 Compliance & Documentation are required on this project as stipulated in the Bid Documents and HUD Standards. Successful bidders must furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bonds, in the penal sum of the full amount of the contract awarded. The Housing & Redevelopment Authority of Virginia, Minnesota reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in the bidding, and to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder.
