Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Hagerstown, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Pavilion Construction: installation concrete footings, concrete slab, columns, beams, trusses, plywood, trusses, metal roof with trim. Scope of Work: Refer to the attached drawings from Newcomer Associates, drawing numbers 000, S000 and $100 for pavilion construction. The City of Hagerstown Engineering Department will supply a site benchmark and provide finished floor elevation of concrete pavilion slab. Length of Contract: Twenty (20) Working Days is the contract length. Liquidated damages are assessed at $300.00 per calendar day. Pre-Bid Meeting: No Pre-Bid meeting will be held but all bidders are welcome to visit the project site prior to submitting a bid. The project site address is listed in the first paragraph of this RFP. Schedule: Once the contract is awarded (tentatively early May) and executed by both parties, work can begin. All work shall be completed by the end of June 2025. Liquidated damages of $300 per calendar day will be assessed and deducted from final payment for each calendar day beyond working days. The City of Hagerstown reserves the right to reject or accept any or all proposals submitted, either in whole or in part for any reason within its absolute discretion.
