Reference Number 0000290858 Pricing Lump sum D3.1 The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of the construction of a solid waste disposal cell (Cell 35) and access road. The cell is west of Payette Road and north of Charette Road at the Brady Road Resource Management Facility. D3.2 The major components of the Work are as follows: (a) Project start up including mobilization to Site; (b) Development, implementation, and maintenance of a site specific SAFE Work Procedure; (c) Provision and maintenance of temporary facilities and controls; (d) Excavation of Cell 35 to design grades and hauling of excavated materials to on-Site stockpile areas; (e) Construction of perimeter berm and intermediate berm using excavated materials and on-Site stockpile materials; (f) Construction of a Recompacted Clay Base (RCB); (g) Supply and installation of geomembrane liner and geotextiles; (h) Supply and installation of leachate collection system piping and granular drainage rock backfill in trenches; (i) Supply and installation of leachate pump, electrical panel, heat tracing, and electrical connections; (j) Supply and installation of a 50 mm gravity main and connection to existing leachate system; (k) Supply and installation of sand protection layer; (l) Installation of a tire derived aggregate drainage layer from on-Site stockpiles; (m) Placement of fill and grading for Cell 35 access road and ramps from on-Site stockpile areas; (n) Supply and installation of granular aggregate for Cell 35 access road and ramps; (o) Supply and installation of culverts; (p) Grading of ditches and containment berm; (q) Pipe penetrations for landfill gas as shown in Comcor Environment Ltd. Drawing (W-1001); (r) Site restoration; and (s) Demobilization and close out. The Bidder shall include in their Bid Submission bid security in the form of a digital bid bond, in the amount of at least ten percent (10%) of the Total Bid Price A performance bond of a company registered to conduct the business of a surety in Manitoba, in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the Contract Price, A labour and material payment bond of a company registered to conduct the business of a surety in Manitoba, in an amount equal to fifty percent (50%) of the Contract Price.
