Site work and paving for a civil project in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of the renewal of water mains on Watt Street, William Newton Avenue and Riverton Avenue all within the City of Winnipeg. The major components of the Work are as follows: (a) Installation of approximately 830m of 150mm-300mm diameter PVC water main pipe by trenchless method; (b) Abandonment of existing water mains as required; (c) Removal/abandonment of existing hydrant assemblies and gate valves as required; (d) Installation of valves and hydrant assemblies; (e) Reconnection or renewal of water service connections; and (f) Restoration of pavement and boulevard areas. The Contractor shall achieve Total Performance within fifty (50) consecutive Working Days of the commencement of the Work as specified in D21, or by October 31, 2025, whichever occurs first.
